Working within End User Services team to provide technical support to staff and customers, playing a crucial role in maintaining a stable and efficient IT environment by leveraging MCM capabilities for software deployment, patch management, and system configuration across multiple environments.

ITIL qualifications desirable - ability to gain baseline clearance is essential.
What's involved:
- Provide direction on the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the Server SOE in
- a client computing environment including the distribution of applications.
- Provide direction on the strategic implementation of the Server SOE environment, including
- a consideration for Open Standards and Open-Source products as related to
- Government business requirements.
- Support the implementation of technologies, such as Group Policy, Intune, and login scripts in line with the strategic direction of the Government Dept.
- Provide and manage high level support and troubleshooting
- including leading the development of solutions to overcome production issues.
- Develop and maintain relevant documentation as required for the QMS.
- In collaboration with the Security team to ensure the Server SOE complies
- with the Essential 8 recommendations.
What experience?
- Demonstrated experience as a Microsoft Configuration Manager administrator for medium to large scale ICT systems. (ideally minimum exp of 5 years).
- Demonstrated experience in Windows Server operating system including Active Directory Management (including Azure Active Directory) and Group Policy.
- Demonstrated experience of the management of software and server hardware utilizing MCM and Intune.
- Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Configuration Manager for Microsoft
- Operating System security patching and reporting.
